This National Sleep Awareness week, Leapcure is championing better sleep, for better health!

In a world where blue light from screens is a normal part of our everyday lives, the impact this has on our sleep quality is commonly overlooked. We all know the guideline is to get 6-8 hours of sleep a night, but lying in your bed staring at your phone in a daze doesn’t count! 

The necessity of quality sleep for our health is crucial, but the CDC reports that as many as 1 in 3 adults don’t get enough sleep. Mental and physical health is heavily impacted, including the potential exacerbation of conditions such as high blood pressure, depression, obesity, and heart disease. It could be time to re-think that nightly Netflix binge most of us are guilty of!
